May {Pin-spired}

I am so late to this party but decided to do it anyways! I have never been a very good dresser, I'm a t-shirt and jeans/shorts kinda girl but I'm realizing I can make that cute with just a few accessories.

Okay so first up:

I love this outfit. We were heading out to the circus and I wanted something comfy but cute at the same time. I've never been a big scarf person but I've seen this trend all over Pinterest so I bought one and am trying different ways of wearing it. Also. I love my Jessica Simpson purse. I scurried eBay (I guess it was an older one) for it until it popped up and bought it immediately! 

So apparently, stripes are in! Ha! I have NEVER been able to wear stripes. I always feel like they make me look wider then I am. But I found this shirt at Gap (on sale!) and LOVED it. I bought it in four different colors! 

This little number was suppose to be my Easter dress (with dresser shoes) but my kiddo was super sick and we spent Easter morning trying to find an Urgent Care (for future reference, apparently all doctor offices are closed Easter Sunday). So I wore it to church a few weeks later but decided I would rather pair it with boots (apparently the weather can't make up its mind and it was chilly). Most of my wardrobe consist of dark blue and black so I added this bright coral sweater and accessories for a pop of color. I really liked the outfit and I can probably even wear it into the fall with a different sweater. 

So. There you have it. Nothing to exciting but I am making more of an effort because of this little link up so I wanted to at least blog about it! Thanks for stopping in! =)
