Friday Favorites: A Day in Our Life

Yay for Friday! And yay for Friday Favorites! I really love this link up with Momfessionals! If you get a chance everyone should check out some of the other blogs!! 

So today I'm talking about my FAVORITE day this week. I keep seeing blog post of "A Day in the Life" and they are one of my FAVORITES to read so I thought I would share our day yesterday!

I pulled myself out of bed at 8am. If you know me and my kids, this is sleeping in for us! I got up and got myself ready first! 

Next I got myself and the big girls breakfast. Can I just say, the age they are at is a FAVORITE because they can pretty much do almost their entire breakfast themselves. Also. I had my moms, made from scratch, apple pie for breakfast and it's my FAVORITE pie ever. She actually made this for me at Christmas time and I've had it frozen waiting for a time when I was just dying for her pie! So so yummy! 

At 9 I got my sweet, still sleeping baby up to feed her and get her ready for the day. We are extremely scheduled ppl and she was off by an hour but it all evened out after her 2:30 nap!

Glen left for Columbus at 5am so I knew he was going to be late today and I knew we wouldn't survive staying home all day. So we made our way too Moms Club event at 10am. 

 It was fun, the girls played and Callie ate. Because food is her favorite. 

We left there and decided to give the Splash Pad a try. And I can say it's now probably my girls FAVORITE. It's been open for 2 or 3 years and we've never been. I'm glad we went today, and we will be going more! 

We went and picked up our favorite pizza for dinner. Because if daddy is going to be late, mommy doesn't want to cook!

We got home and it was Callie's nap time. Baylie got in trouble and sent to timeout and when I went to talk to her, I found her like this. 

Two out of three kids napping is momma's favorite! And I got to spend a little alone time with my favorite 8yo. 

For dinner I warmed up our pizza in the oven and they made goofy faces while sitting on the counter waiting to eat. 

I got Callie up around 5:45 and she ate and we watched one of my FAVORITE movies, The Empire Strikes Back! 

Once she finished eating, she did more of this! 

We all know standing is now her favorite. She JUST started crawling a week ago! 

At 7:30 it was bath time and little nosey decided she wanted to see what sissy's were doing. She made her way into the bathroom and tried every which way to get in that tub. Her sisters might have teased her some.

Glen walked in the door 10 mins later and we all know that was everyone's FAVORITE part of the day. They are such daddy's girls. Callie would cry if he put her down, she misses him when he's gone. 

So there you have it! Today was a fun day and I love just remembering the little things that my girls do.
